Collection: Zen of Knitting Collection

There comes a time, when learning a new pattern, when our minds shift from reading the pattern to reading the knitting (or crochet), and that's when flow happens. The rhythm of the stitches is calming, centering, and stress-relieving, like a good mindfuless practice... that produces a sock, or a sweater, or an afghan.

Scientists have found that the rhythmic, repetitive hand movements in knitting and crochet stimulate the release of endorphins (the happy hormones) and oxytocin (the bonding hormone). In unscientific-speak, the rhythm and flow of our knitting and crochet help us become happier and more loving.

This collection celebrates the therapeutic nature of knitting and crochet, in helping us create a peaceful mind and heart... while making socks, and sweaters, and afghans for those we love.
